Here are some clips of the article:

A month before Earth Day on April 22, the Philippines' first "Earth Chapel" was opened this week at the Greenheart Hermitage inside the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos campus in Bacolod City.

The chapel was built with indigenous and recycled materials such as mud, bamboo, rice straw and stalk, cogon grass, old wine bottles, and discarded tiles and wood.

Apart from being built with sustainable materials, the chapel also incorporates renewable energy, according to The Climate Reality Project official presenter Bro. Tagoy Jakosalem, who did the interior of the chapel.

"The chapel is the first solar-powered religious edifice in the country. It is envisioned both to have a sound spiritual and environmental atmosphere, and LED lights are used to illumine the interior. Wine bottles are incorporated in the structure, natural lighting effects emanating from the green-colored wine bottles, serving as recyclable stained-glass windows," Jakosalem said in an article posted on the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines news site.

The Climate Reality Project in the Philippines promotes climate change adaptation and mitigation through observance of 8-Rs: reduce, reuse, recycle, repair, refuse, rethink, rainforest and reconnect.

Renewable Energy in poor houses in the Philippines

We will feature his some of the ingenius creations of filipinos here.

Instead of a light bulb, a soda bottle with water and chlorox was used by a Filipino and installed it into some houses who cant afford or does not have electricity.

Use of Renewable Energy Sources - Our Future Depends on this

As our earth warms up, melting some parts of the world evidently seen by some lands disappearing into the water. More countries will realize that an alternative to sources of our energy that causes great pollutionl will be an inevitable choice for the earth's survival.

We have been enjoying our infinite sources of energy. Man has to realize that energy is free. The sun, our ever constant and reliable source of heat is always with us. The water, as our earth contains more water than the soil is almost infinite. The wind, which is always with us or else we die as it is in the air we breathe.

Energy is free and so we just need mankind to create ways on how to harness and maximize the use of our infinite sources and the lifespan  of the earth will be longer.

Each country has a treasure and it should be utilized well and maximized. The Philippines is lucky as we have all the infinite sources with us especially the sun and the water. The wind is plenty in some parts of the country.

Using renewable energy sources should be our advocacy as our earth's survival depends on it. Welcome to the coming of the next historical revolution. We had industrial revolution in the past, then internet age and now the renewable energy age. It has been stopped and neglected before but it is an inevitable phenomenon. However great the opposing factors are, it can never be stopped. The impact will be great again as our past already showed us how everybody has to adjust and adapt to the coming of new revolutions. Global crisis here and there are just symptoms of the coming of the inevitable. Countries such as the new rising power are spending huge money just to explore the renewable energy arena even if they are not cost effective for now for the sake of reducing pollution in the earth. Is our country (Philippines) ready for the upcoming challenge of the new renewable energy revolution?

There is hydrogen fuel cell technology that NASA have been using for years for outer space travel. This can supplement the fuel energy we use for our vehicles.  This will increase the efficiency of our engines and eliminate pollution coming from our vehicles.

Visit our "Videos" Section to learn more about Hydrogen Fuel Cell Technology and how it works. As for the ongoing technology in other countries. Here are the samples below:

Renewable Energy in the Philippines

Its time for the Philippines to enjoy the free energy from the sun and other sources that are sustainable and doesnt diminish. Coming soon!

Welcome to our new Blog!

Hi everyone- just finally setting up a new blog for our green technology site. We’ll be publishing news and articles here so come on back and visit- give us your feedback!

Global Warming Effects on Us Right NOW!

How do we change our ways and try and mitigate climate change?

How do we (humans) start to have less of an impact on our only home, earth?

Is the earth a finite resource? Yes. The problem is that economic theory was based on an “empty world.” Instead, we need to move to “full world” economics. The basic rule of microeconomics, that optimal scale is reached when marginal cost equals marginal benefit (MC = MB), has aptly been called the “when to stop rule”—that is, when to stop growing. In macroeconomics, curiously, there is no “when to stop rule,” nor any concept of the optimal scale of the macro-economy. The default rule is “grow forever,” consume forever, grow, grow, grow!

Does the earth have finite material resources? Yes.

While growth must end, this in no way implies an end to development, which we define as qualitative change, realization of potential, evolution toward an improved, but not larger, structure or system—an increase in the quality of goods and services (where quality is measured by the ability to increase human well-being) provided by a given throughput. Most of you have ceased growing physically, yet are probably studying this text in an effort to further develop your potential as humans. We expect human society to continue developing, and indeed argue that only by ending growth will we be able to continue developing for the indefinite future.

The sole source of inflowing energy to our earth is the SUN. It’s our sole source of energy, and that’s what we are implementing here in our company, Tower One Energy Group. Harnessing clean power that is truly sustainable, forever.
